"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path's straight."

Tuesday Zoe and I took a little trip to Birmingham to have lunch with my cousin Wendy. At first I thought it was supposed to storm and we might not be able to go, but it turned out to be a gorgeous day and I am so glad we went. It was so nice to see her and I must say she looked absolutely great. I don't really know what I expected... not that I expected her to look bad... I guess I thought she would look like she was in more pain. Nope! You would never know she had just had major surgery. I'm just soo glad she's doing so well!!! After lunch we did a little shopping. We went into the cutest little children's shop and that's where Zoe decided to do her business. And by business I mean a huge accident!! I don't know if she has figured out that this is a way to get new clothes or a way to get naked, but this is the second time this has happened in the past 4 days. So, I had to break down and buy a new outfit. The shop was a little pricey, but I was able to find an adorable outfit by Le Top at a somewhat reasonable price. I just hope that this doesn't continue or the child is going to break me. I did have a spare outfit in the Jeep but we were a little ways away and I didn't really want to carry her around naked (although I am sure she would've loved it).

Caleigh came home that same night from the beach. It was so good to see her. I really, really missed her. I'm pretty sure she missed me too. I could tell she was absolutely worn out, but she still insisted on staying up a little longer just to hang out. Zoe was so excited to see her! She decided to stay up a little longer too and by the end of the night I was pretty worn out. Of course, no sooner had she gotten home and she was gone again. She spent the night w/ her friend Grace last night. I will get her tonight and then she will be off to mimi Vicki's tomorrow night and then back on Saturday. I swear she stays busier than any child I know. I feel like I have to schedule time to see her and I'm her mother. That's just not right!!
